
Biris Goran advises FunGift.ro business angel investor

Biris Goran advised a well-known business angel with the acquisition of a majority stake in FunGift.ro, a leading Romanian ecommerce business which was established in 2006. Leading the team was Christian Mindru (Of Counsel), who was assisted by Delia Cozma (Associate) and Sorin Biban (Associate).
Biris Goran assists Ringier with acquisition of Axel Springer publications

Biris Goran assisted Ringier AG, Switzerland’s largest internationally operating media establishment, with the acquisition of Edipresse A.S. Romania, a joint venture of the Swiss Edipresse publishing group and the German Axel Springer media establishment. Edipresse A.S. Romania is one of the biggest magazine publishers in Romania, comprising the well-known publications ELLE, AVANTAJE, LOOK!, PSYCHOLOGIES, ÎNTÂMPLARI ADEVARATE, POVESTEA MEA, LUCRU DE MÂNA, POVESTI DE VIATA and BABY, as well as the Romanian version of VIVA! The team was lead by Daniela Lazea (Of Counsel), who was primarily assisted by Razvan Bardicea (Associate) who assisted with the approval of the transaction by the Romanian Competition Council. Partner Dan Visoiu is appointed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)

Dan Visoiu was appointed and became the sole Romanian arbitrator to the Court of
Arbitration for Sport (CAS). In his capacity as one of the members of the Ethics Commission of
the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee (COSR) since 2004, attorney Dan Visoiu is a
voting member of the COSR. The Court of Arbitration for Sport was formally established in 1984 as part of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and is now governed by the International Council of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS), with CAS currently having approximately 250 arbitrators.
