Adrian Savin

Adrian began his career in 2003 in the NGO sector, working with Transparency International Romania as a legal expert, where he focused on, and significantly contributed to, judicial reform measures in 2004 and other anti-corruption legal initiatives. In 2006, Adrian continued his professional activities with the Romanian Academic Society (SAR), dealing with issues relating to transparent governance and anti-corruption reforms. During this time, he also obtained experience in private law working as a legal consultant to several international companies investing in Romania on matters regarding real estate, corporate law and private equity/venture capital. His practice at Biris Goran specializes in FIDIC construction agreements, antitrust, concentrations and real estate transactions.

• Assisting a major Austrian investor in the development of a Bucharest shopping centre in closing FIDIC-type contracts valued at EUR 100 million
• Assisting an international cement and aggregates supplier with merger filing and competition procedures
• Advising several FMCG producers regarding anti-trust compliance program focused on dominance and pricing
• Lead associate in the sale of a leading Romanian distribution company to an Austrian fine foods concern
