Simona Alecu
Before joining Biris Goran in 2007, Simona was an associate with a local Bucharest practice focusing on corporate, real estate and litigation matters. Since her arrival, Simona has been requested by several clients to be the lead associate on several real estate and corporate transactions having primary drafting and coordination responsibility on their successful closings. Her practice recently expanded to include complex corporate restructuring for Romanian high net worth individuals and multinational funds.

- Lead associate in the EUR 70 million acquisition of an industrial component manufacturer by a major Romanian real estate developer and its subsequent corporate restructuring.
- Lead associate in assisting a Baltic real estate developer in several acquisitions and sales totaling tens of millions EUR.
- Lead Romanian associate in the cross-border restructuring of a US-based investment fund.
