Daniela’s practice focuses on media, corporate and real estate law. She has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions in the audiovisual and online media sectors, as well as the setting up of premium-pay TV channels. Her substantial corporate law experience has included a particular focus on corporate governance issues, legal due diligence procedures and the negotiation and execution of joint venture agreements in various types of investments from the retail to the services industry. Daniela’s substantial real estate experience has been concentrated on residential, retail and office projects, and includes complex negotiations with Romanian and international banks as well as foreign investment funds relating to project finance, sale-lease back and leasing operations.
Prior to re-joining Biriş Goran in 2010, Daniela worked as a lead attorney with one of Romania’s leading media groups. Before this, she was a senior associate with Biris Goran between 2007 - 2008, and with the Romanian office of Firon Bar Nir between 2000 - 2007.
